Weekly Writing Wrap-Up: April 3 – 9

Welcome to my Weekly Writing Wrap-Up for the week.

Total Word Count for the Week: 5,656

Top Writing Day: My top writing day was Wednesday with 1,344 words.

What I Worked On: I worked on Hunger Games fanfiction, my novel, and editing Snow.

The Good News: I am sooooo close to finishing my WIP! I am only a few scenes away, and I’m super excited about it!

The Bad News: I’m so ready for this WIP to be over. I’ve struggled through it, and even though I love my idea and I love my characters, I’m going to be glad for a change and a chance to work on something else!

Lesson Learned: I’ve always struggled with dialogue, and I found this really neat article about mistakes writers make while writing dialogue. Check it out here: http://beyondthemargins.com/2014/02/the-6-most-common-mistakes-when-writing-dialogue-and-how-to-avoid-them/

Goal for Next Week: My goal is to edit the next chapter of Snow and write at least 1000 words in my novel.

Thanks for reading!
